Dr. Schwartz is both an experienced trial attorney and a medical doctor with over 25 years of experience, including ten years as the head of ENT medicine at Anne Arundel Hospital in Annapolis Maryland.
He has consulted on health issues throughout Europe and Africa and has served as an advisor for the World Health Organization, and lectured on health policy at Georgetown University. He has practiced ENT surgery and immunology since 1977, serving as a community hospital department chairman for ten years.
Dr. Schwartz is a recognized authority on Stark laws, Medicare rules, and on medical contracts, both simple and complex. He has taught health law at the University of Maryland and John Hopkins. In 2003, his peers voted Dr. Schwartz as one of the 25 most influential people in healthcare in Maryland.
